White Noise
Made in White City

Coming Soon: New White Noise

We've come a long way with the website you see today. Hung a grand piano from a crane. Transformed White City's favourite eyesore. Published over 200,000 words. But sometimes you've got to trade in your trusty old camper van for something that can handle its corners and top 60 on an M road.

Come September 27th, we're relaunching White Noise with a brand new website. We'll still be curious about cities and their secrets, from street names to swimming pools to statues. You'll still find us at this address.

But we'll be digging deeper into White City and West London. We'll write, photograph, and make art that's as innovative and surprising as the place itself. We'll pair an intelligently global approach with an enthusiastically local one, championing West London's forgotten history, untold stories and hidden creativity. (That means you, local artists! Get in touch.)

Got some West London news to share? Email us. Want to write, take photos, pitch us an art intervention? Check out our guide.

Features lined up include how foraging can change the way you see the city (below), West London's musical history, and a portrait of the Moroccan community hardest hit by Grenfell Tower. Watch this space.
